First registered 1934 as a Velocette MOV! it was stripped down in 1945 because it seized and ruined the engine and bent the rear part of the frame and never put back together! I was given it in the 1980's by a friend when he brought a old house and it was in bits in a leaky shed/barn the Log book was still with it and I'm the 2nd owner. I repaired the frame and dry stored it all until Covid when I rebuilt the engine, then in August last year I started on the frame and wheels collecting bits from bike jumbles eBay in the meantime and more or less finished now, (still no lights etc)

Launched in 2017, the Alpine A110 was inspired by the WRC-winning A110 made in Dieppe from 1963 to the late 1970s. Founder Jean Redele was a successful rally driver in the 1950s who developed his own cars after modifying Renaults sold by his father's dealership. Redele's philosophy was all about 'adding lightness' and the engineering design team that created the modern A110 went to enormous lengths to keep the weight (wet) down to 1120 kgs. The French tax regime meant a sub-2 litre ICE was the best choice to keep the A110 affordable, and so the Megane RS turbo-charged 1.8 went in with a Getrag DCT gearbox. My own A110 was made in 2019 and has been modified in various ways, with 70 bhp more (to 320 bhp) and upto 400 Nm in torque by remapping the ECU, plus a re-tuned TCU, adjustable shock absorbers, tan seats, a 40% larger water radiator, Bola FP2 forged wheels in Shadow Chrome, a race exhaust system, and several other items.
