Inspired by prewar Morgan Supersport 3 wheelers, with its exposed V twin engine, this was the first modern interpretation (but still over 40 years ago) and considered by many to set the benchmark for such cars until Morgan themselves re-introduced their 3 wheeler. The Triking is based on a Moto Guzzi 1000 cc motorcycle drive with modern brakes, electrical system, steering and a steel chassis/body tub. Later models obtained EU type approval so did not require to be built as a kit. -
