The Heritage Certificate confirms that this Home Market car was supplied to a dealer in Hertfordshire on the 30th January 1966. The car was supplied with optional factory fitted heater at extra cost! The TR4A was the first in the TR range that had Independent rear suspension. This car also has the optional 'Surrey Top', an early form of removable roof section that Porsche later called their 911 Targa which had a similar semi convertible removable centre roof section hence the name 'Targa Top'. -

Purchased in 1973 by my brother Rae, who had a bare body full restoration in 1985 (including engine and running gear strip down). Sadly Rae died in 2011 and I bought the car from his estate as the car was very precious to him. Rae regularly attended the Capel show when he was alive. I have maintained the high, original condition of the car since owing it. I had a full engine strip and rebuild last year and the Tiger Club also replaced the hood and fitted a new tonneau. NAN won 1st prize as best in standard class at the Tiger Club National last year. -

This is a 1966 (built end of 1965) model Corvette Sting Ray with the uprated 350hp small block V8. It was imported into the UK in 2015 and I am the second UK owner. It was restored in the USA in the early 90s and is the best preserved Corvette I could find. My 12th birthday present was a model Sting Ray, and I have hankered after one ever since. It has appeared on "The Not Very Grand Tour" with James May and Richard Hammond. -
